Lace curtains can add ambience to any room in your home

Using lace curtains as window coverings has gained in popularity over the years. Lace is one of the fanciest and most decorative fabrics available so why not use this beautiful and elegant material for decorating your window. Lace has been around in one form or another for hundreds of years now. You can find it in a variety of fibers such as cotton, silk, rayon, polyester and others.  Compared to most fabrics, it is quite fragile, which is what makes lace so romantic and elegant.

Most people choose white or an antique white when it comes to lace simply because it is a neutral color and can go with the home's overall decor.
